I have very big round eyes with long wide lashes. It's been difficult for me to find an eyelash curler that fits all of my lashes and entire eye, without tearing out the end lashes. This eyelash curler is perfect. The package states that it is best for round eyes, and recommends the classic curl lash curler for almond eyes and hooded eyes. I purchased the Professional rose gold curler, which is the one for round eyes. It gives a dramatic curl and wispy ends that's just perfect. My old lash curler required 2-3 crimps per eye, bit this one gets it done in one crimp. It doesn't pinch my eyes, rip out lashes, or cut the lashes. It feels very substantial compared to other lash curlers I've used, and I appreciate the double handles. I've tried every lash curler out there, including the expensive ones from Sephora. This one Trump's them all. I can't say that I've had success with the other tweezerman curlers. The other curlers from Tweezerman just didn't fit my eye correctly. Shu Umera and Shisedio didn't do it for me either, much too narrow for my eyes. I'm glad I took the plunge and purchased this one. It seemed like a lot for a drugstore brand lash curler, but it's totally worth the quality you get, and it comes with 3 new rubber pads as well. I like the hard plastic case that it comes with, and I've kept it to store the lash curler in my make up draw so it stay perfect and doesn't get bent!
I bought the eyelash curler in Feb 2021. And it's the only one that curves the right way to get my inner and outer corner lashes. The regular eyelash curlers never get there, so I'd have just my center laskes curled, thankfully this curler gets ALL of them, and I mean all, it probably gets all except 3 of the very most inner corner lashes.I have hooded eyes, but my eyes seem to curve more upwards on my uooerlid, which is why this curler works so well, it's more curved in that way to get closer to the roots. It's held up the entire time I've used it and never had a problem.
I do like this product and it is significantly better than my old Revlon lash curler. Of course, for the price, I was hoping it would be! Does get very close to your lash line, and does a great job of lifting and curling your lashes. I will say, though, that I still do get the "L" curl sometimes using this product....oddly enough, it tends to happen with one eye and not the other. But overall pleased.
To be clear the latest shu ones were ANCIENT but authentic (always bought from sephora or ulta). And these are just as good. I also put them next to one other to look at the angle etc and they're exactly the same. I threw the shu ones away. They'd lived a good life. I was gonna get fancy and take pics etc but I couldn't be bothered. I think these are really worth the investment because they're a beauty TOOL and those are investment pieces in my experience and opinion (;it is an opinion). I really believe in grooming/hygiene, skincare, and proper tools to accomplish the aesthetic portion of beauty vs the health version.POINT - these are SOLID. And they're the same as the shu's. I had several pairs for over a decade. Good grip. Great lasting curl. I DO NOT have monolids though (I do have hooded eyes) so go for the other ones branded for that eye shape because they probably made different pairs for a reason. Hope this helps.
I bought this in December 2018 and it broke July 2020. The middle part that has the words "Tweezerman" just broke off of one side while I was using it. Scary. The metal turned out to be really thin and reminded me of a tin can. While they lasted, they were phenomenal in that they fit my eye shape (my eyes are more rounded). But I've had CoverGirl and Revlon eyelash curlers that lasted 10+ years and I only got rid of them because they didn't fit my eye shape the best. The quality of these is far inferior and I'm disappointed.
If I could only have one makeup tool, it would be this. I purchased this a few years back and was skeptical of buying a lash curler for $20 dollars because my old curlers were from elf, or from revlon and they'd lose their ability to curl my straight asian lashes in a few short months, or sometimes even less. I heard so many great things about this lash curler and decided to buy it. It lasted me almost 3 years until I broke it and I immediately purchased another one. It comes with three refills so you won't need to purchase anymore of the rubber for a while. My lashes hold up so, so well with this curler and it even gets the small hairs on the sides of my eyes!
I was hesitant to spend this much on an eyelash curler. It actually works! I am glad I bought it. The product is worth the price. As I’ve gotten older my eyelashes have thinned out. I gave up trying to curl them but reviews here convinced me that it might just work and it did. I’m not one to spend over $50 on a serum treatment. This product says for round eyes, but I believe it works for all types of eyes. I curled eyelashes twice, once on lashes toward corner of eyes then the rest. It worked great that way. Try it!
A few years ago, I bought this at Sephora and I loved it. I used it for over two years until one day it broke. The mechanism just would not curl your lashes. I decided to buy a Revlon eyelash curler. Funny enough, I ended up buying tweezerman refills because it barely curled my lashes. About a month ago, that broke too. I decided to give this another chance because I really loved how it made my lashes look. I hope this one lasts!Update:During the past few weeks, this eyelash curler has been taking my lashes along with it after I'm done curling. I honestly will never use this again.
