WOW!!!!I was a bit skeptical when purchasing this eyelash curler because of the mixed reviews but I am very pleased. It is a bit weird to get use to because the cushion is fairly larger than your typical eyelash curler cushion. This cushion is 3 tiered so it helps your lashes curl in three different locations at the SAME time! My lashes are long and very straight and it's very difficult for my lashes to hold a curl let alone stay curly after applying any type of mascara. LET ME TELL YOU that with this curler, my lashes not only hold a CURL but they also keep it's beautiful curl after applying MASCARA and waterproof mascara as well!! I thought I'd never see the day when all my lashes are beautiful and curly but this eyelash curler proved me WRONG!!! It's a must! If you have the same struggle as I do, I would def give this piece a try! I'm so happy :)
I've been using eyelash curlers for decades. I've never experience one so useless. I was looking forward to having lashes curled instead of bent. That first requires the curler being not so curved that I can get it close enough to get my eyelashes in it, and they are very long. 2nd, to have an opening large enough to get them through. The jaws open not even a quarter inch... I measured. I glad some people got it too work, I can only assume they received a product different than mine. It may only be $6 but it's an absolute waste.
I have Shiseido, Shu Uemera, Revlon, Tweezerman, etc. lash curlers and I've never loved any of them. Regular lash curlers make my lashes stick straight up and even though that makes them look really long from the frontal view, I don't like the angle from the side view. I wanted a rounded gradual curl and this curler gives me that! They don't look as long from the front, but I love the soft rounded angle of the curl from the side. I don't think this would work for short lashes because the pads are thick, wide and big. But for average to long lashes this is really good if you prefer a rounded curl! At first I was frustrated with it because I had to play with it and find the right angle to hold it, but once I figured it out how to get it against the base of my lashes, it was worth the effort! I always heat it lightly with my blow dryer otherwise no curler does anything for me. The way I hold it is I sightly tilt it back toward my eyes and it catches my lashes the best at this angle.
I can't seem to find the "old fashioned" eyelash curler that doesn't lose the cushion in a week. This is well made but has a different angle with the rubber on the top and bottom. Feels safer than against just metal, so I'll keep using it.
This is so kind to my lashes. I have long lashes as is but they aren't super thick. Usually my lashes curler rips at my lashes and I'm constantly buying new comfort pieces to them. I have yet to use the replacement soft piece that came with this one. It doesn't pull my lashes out and it's an even spread when used.
I ordered a few eyelash curlers to see if there was anything new and amazing. I did not have high hopes for this one, but I am pleasantly surprised. I think this will work amazing for most, but because I have thick lashes that are hard to curl I do feel like this could give a stronger pinch, but I know for those with thin lashes that can be dangerous. Otherwise I am able to get this to work and in conjunction with my deep V curler I think this is a winner
I’m not sure if I got a defected one or if this is just how all of them are but I feel like my regular shiseido eyelash curler works so much better than this when I saw this I was so excited cause you’d think it with more layers of the padding it would curl better and faster but the pads are kind of like stiff and not in a good way idk why but it doesn’t curl well for reference I have straight Asian lashes and the only lash curlers I’ve found that work good for me are the shiseido ones and the tarte one they’re a lot easier to maneuver and curl stronger but they are a bit pricier
